The Courage To Be Kind

Kindness is not weakness. Humility is not insecurity. In the fire service, we talk a lot about strength—but real strength is having the guts to be human, to make mistakes, to ask for help, and to lead without tearing people down. We do not need a softer fire service. We need a healthier one.
